New Charlotte Bobcats Uniforms

New Charlotte Bobcats Uniforms

Hi! Remember me? I’m a sports design blogger. Sorry for the lack of posts as of late. You can always follow me on Twitter for little tidbits here and there. Onto the news…

The Charlotte Bobcats unveiled new uniforms and a new color scheme today. The new home uniforms say “Cats” instead of “Bobcats,” and orange is now tertiary to a darker navy blue and the added Carolina blue. I’m sure Duke fans love that. The color scheme is a big improvement, though. Their old blue was too dull, and downplaying the orange is a good move.

As for the uniforms, I generally like pinstripes, but I never did like the Bobcats’. Ditching those was an improvement. Since the name “Bobcats” is unique, I prefer that on the uniforms over just “Cats,” but the short name allows it to be nice and big. It sounds like most Charlotte fans are hoping the New Orleans Hornets change names, leaving Hornets open for Charlotte to reclaim.

Overall, they’re nothing too exciting, but they’re clean and they look nice, which is definitely an improvement. What do you think?

Huge improvement from the previous two bobcats uniforms and i particularly like the design on the sides and the large ‘cats’ on the home uniform. I also like the emphasis on the navy blue with carolina blue as a secondary. Relaxing the orange is a good move as well. Im a sucker for nice unis, and i may grow to like this team…

It seems like the Bobcats think that if they steal the Mavs uniforms, they can steal their talent as well.

I also understand why the Mavericks shortened their name to the MAVS, because that’s what most people call them. But to me, Bobcats should not be shorten, no one calls them the “CATS”.

I like very much the new design. Maybe this will inject energy to the team and Improve Their participation in the new season. Reduce the name is good, for some it Seems strange but a matter of getting used.

So I know Blog Rolls are used to link to other peoples blogs in exchange for a link to your blog on theirs. These fresh, elegant and regular social media icons are high-quality to be blended with light ensign like them.
