Interested in writing a guest post?

Well, hello. You may remember me. I’m the guy who used to post about sports and design. As I feared they would, things have gotten too busy as of late to post regularly. I’ll get back to posting weekly; I’ve just hit a large patch of freelance work, and unfortunately the paying gigs have to come before the non-paying gig.

That said, I was asked recently if I’d be interested in having others write posts for the blog. In periods like this where I’m slammed with other work, I am. The blog won’t turn into a guest post fest, but if you’ve got something you’d like to write about, send me an email at steven@thesportsdesignblog.com and let me know your idea. If you end up writing something, I’ll post it in a dead period like this where I won’t be able to post for a couple weeks.

One note about posts, though. I’m less interested in someone’s opinion on a new jersey set or logo or someone’s top 10 jerseys in a sport than I am in some interesting insights into the overlap of sports and design, like the following (you don’t need to make elaborate charts, either):

Thanks for having patience, and I promise I’ll be back to posting soon!

I’m not really that qualified, and I don’t know much HTML, but I love uniforms and would love to guest post! Pro combat and new jerseys are usually awesome, and I saw your 2012-13 uniforms post on Chris Creamer’s Sports Logos.
